Summer Fun in the Sun!

We had a great weekend spending some quality time with the Sorrells. I pray they move home soon. These quick weekend visits just aren't enough. I love summer hanging out by the pool at Mom & Dad's, eating Schwan's drumsticks, having Monical's pizza, and just chillin with the fam. That's my idea of summer vacation. Wish we could do it everyday. The Dowden's are heading here as I type, so more family fun is on the way!!! Also, my hubby is home all week:) I'm so happy! 29 Weeks!

This is me today at 29 weeks and 1 day. I can't believe how huge I am. For the most part I am doing good but by the end of the day I am exhausted and hurt all over. I have officially stopped sleeping. I wake up like every hour. It's so much fun. It's hot and I am ready to have this baby:) 76 DAYS TO GO!

HE'S BACK!

Riley is HOME!!!! Oh, I thought saturday would never come, but it did and it's great to have Riley home. If it's possible, after just a week he looked older. He's got a great tan too! Thank you, Cara & Nick, for taking great care of him! He had his first All Star practice yesterday and he did awesome. Today starts our busy,busy month. THe kids have swimming lessons through the 4th. Riley has All Stars through the 13th. He also, hopefully, starts tennis lessons the 1st of July. Stella has princess camp in the middle of July (yes there is a princess camp). Then it should all quiet down a bit and Jason will leave us July 21 for a work trip to California and Nebraska. When he returns it will be time to start getting school stuff ready for the kids. Can you believe how fast the summer goes. Of course this year I am looking forward to it ending. That means our little boy will be here!!!

Third Trimester

I have officially entered my 3rd trimester today. I am 28 weeks!!! I had my appt. yesterday and the dreaded glucose test...BLAH! I gained 3 more lbs. For a total of 16(not bad so far). Drake is already head down and his heartbeat is staying in the 140's. I go back on July 8th and then every two weeks until 36 weeks. 12 weeks and counting. 84 days to be exact!! He is moving like crazy, never stopping. I can't wait to meet him. I am getting more and more anxious every day. We are slowly but surely getting everything ready for him. Stella and I went through all the boys baby clothes. There are tons! I have a feeling all this energy I have will soon fade away,so I am trying to get as much done now as possible. I wish I had a picture to show you how big I am getting, but I left my camera at the in-laws this weekend:( I'll post one soon.

Separation Anxiety or Hormones???

Stella and I just got back home from dropping Riley off with my sister. He is going on his first trip without me or his dad. He is off to Alabama with the Ortoleva's (my sister and her family). I, of course trust my sister completely with him but for some reason I have been up every night for a week thinking of ways to make him stay home. I cry just thinking about him being gone for a WHOLE WEEK!!!! I completely dreaded saying goodbye, afraid I would cry and totally embarass him. Of course he was too busy playing the Wii when I left him that I barely got a hug and a "Bye Mom". I guess it's better that way. It's just hard to believe that my Riley is 7 and going to be in the 2nd grade. I feel like I just had him. Anyway, I have turned into one of those mothers who crys about every milestone. I'm cracking all this worrying and crying up to pregnancy hormones. Oh crap, who am I kidding;)

Oh by the way, Riley made the All Star team in baseball. His first year in Pinto league and they put him on the ALL Stars!!! WOO HOO!

There is a first time for everything!

I will kick off this blog by saying I've been wanting to do this for a while, but kept putting it off. Jill and Kyle starting one made me finally get it going. I can't promise I will be great at this but I'm a quick learner. Today is a great day to start since I am officially 6 months pregnant today!!!! With the summer already going by so fast, our little boy will be here before we know it. I can't believe in 13 weeks or less I will be a mother of three!!! If you would have told me 10 years ago ( when I was 17) that I would be where I am today, I would have laughed my butt off and called you everything but insane. I wouldn't change one thing though. I am so blessed! Well I guess my first post should have a little announcement along with it. Most of you know we are having a boy, but not everyone knows we have chosen a name for him. So here it is and keep your comments to yourself...unless they are nice ones..hehe! We are naming him Drake Thomas Winchester!!!! One last thing before I stop.
