We are getting closer!!!

Today I am officially 34 weeks preggers! I had my bi-weekly appt. today and was very shocked to find out that I am already dialated 1 cm. Not so normal for me. The nurse practitioner said it could be earlier then we initially expected. I am trying not to get my hopes up but she seemed very concerned about Jason leaving for California in a couple weeks. Looks like Jason may have to cancel! SOrry...my bad!! I am feeling very very tired recently and swelling a bit. Can't seem to sleep at night though and it seems this little boy doesn't sleep at all. He never stops moving!!!! In other Winchester news. The kids are in the middle of their second week of their second session of swimming lessons. They have learned so much this summer. Riley is getting so fast at freestyle and Stella has learned to float on her own and starting to swim without help. Riley also had a huge accomplishment today at lessons. He finally went off the diving board!!! He is very timid and cautious, so this was huge for him. We only have one more full week left before Riley starts school again. THe summer has just flown by. We have had another great one. It's hard to believe next summer I will have three beautiful children!!!

I promise to keep this updated with new baby news and anything else exciting!!!!

Anniversary!

Well, today is the day it all began 6 years ago. Man, time flies when you are married, having babies, and running around with your kids. Yes Jason and I have officially been married 6 years. I'm not going to sit here and ramble on about how perfect it is, because it's not. It is very close though. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful man as my husband. It's never boring with him as my husband and I do have to say we make gorgeous babies!!! We have come so far in the 9 years we've known each other. Through everything, Jason has been the best man I could ever imagine. Happy Anniversary Jay! I love you so much! Thanks for the best 6 years of my life!!!!

UPDATE ON KIDS

I thought I would just give everyone an update on the Winchester clan. Riley & Stella had their yearly physicals this week. I was happy to get back to our old ( and best) pediatrician. Stella weighed in at 42 lbs. and is 41 inches tall. She passed both hearing and vision tests. They thought she was very well behaved (HAHA!!!) Riley weighed 58 lbs. and he was 51.5 inches tall. The doctor said he could tell he was athletic and said if he were to guess he thinks Riley will be 6 foot. As most of you could assume, that makes his DAD very happy. Riley is done with All Stars and will start more swimming lessons next monday. Stella had her first day at Princess Camp today and absolutely loved it! She found out she is a true princess!!

I did have a little scare today with me and baby Drake. I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid and having too many contractions! The dr. did tests to see if I was right. They came out negative but he assured me I did the right thing by coming in and still wants me to be on alert as he says I may be leaking but not enough to show on his tests. I measured perfectly for 32 weeks and gasp...gained 2 more lbs. in just a week!!!!! Drake was in perfect position and his heart rate was in the 150's. Only 55 days to go (or less I hope!) Thank you to all of you who said prayers for me and Drake today! I love you all and you are all huge blessings in mine and my family's lives.

4th of July

30 weeks, 3 days

We had a great 4th of July weekend. We started out at Jason's Grandma Green's house for the 4th. Watching the fireworks in Fowler just as I did as a kid. Then we woke up Saturday morning and headed to Bloomfield to hang out with two of my sisters and their families. We had a lot of fun. I was able to go on a girls day with my neice Tori and her friends! That was fun. I almost forgot what it was like to be 13. Then we picked up strombolis for the whole family at Nick's in Bloomington!!!(The real Indiana college town) Then the men put on their own fireworks show saturday night. It was great! We had a lot of fun. I am happy to be home and starting to get the boys room put together (slowly but surely)!

Holy Cow, I'm old!

I had a great 27th birthday yesterday. Nothing fancy. Just a day with my family and the little man growing inside me! We went to swimming lessons and then Jason took the kids plus cousin Conner fishing. That gave me some time to myself and the couch! Then on to our 3rd All Star game of the week. Riley gets better and better every night. Major League here we come ( I'm kidding)! After that we went out for dinner with my parents and then I came home and crashed before 11. That was my BIG day! Next year I think we'll try forgetting my birthday, then I can stay 27 forever!!!
