2 WEEKS OLD!!!

Sleep!

Just wanting to brag that Drake slept 6 hours straight last night. He is so amazing!!! He went to his first football game today and slept right through it. Riley played awesome and threw a great pass, caught a great pass, and ran the ball really, really well.

DRAKE THOMAS WINCHESTER

I finally have found a little bit of time to introduce you to the newest member of the Winchester family. Drake Thomas Winchester was born Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 at 5:23 PM. He weighed in at 8lbs. 3 0z. and was 20 inches long. He has a little bit of blonde, light brown hair. I was induced at about 8:30 am and things were a little slow going until I finally hit 6 cm. I think it was a matter of about 10 to 15 minutes and I was yelling at the nurse that he was coming. The nurse had to run out and get the doctor to come back in the room. He had left about 5 minutes earlier, thinking it would still be about 30 minutes to an hour before delivery. So there I was in the worst pain of my life. No epideral!!! The nurse had left and there were two ladies getting the table all ready for the delivery. I kept telling them I'm pushing...he's coming and then finally one of them walked over and checked and she said, Oh he is coming. The doctor got there just after Drake's head was out and finished up the delivery. I think everyone in the room was in complete amazement that it all happened so quickly. So, there he was my perfect little man was finally here. Man, he has some lungs!!! He is an amazing baby. He is very easy to soothe and he sleeps well (even at night)!! We had a weight check today and he was back up to his birth weight. The transition from a family of 4 to a family of 5 is going quite smoothly so far. Riley & Stella are back to school and activities this week. Jason is here one more day then back to work on Wednesday. It will be a little scary to do this routine on my own but we will manage just fine. Riley & Stella both have been big helpers!! Thank you to everyone for all your congrats messages! FINALLY!

We finally have an answer as to when our baby will be here. If he doesn't come on his own today or tomorrow, I am being induced Wednesday morning!!!!! WOO HOO!!! It's finally here. I feel much better now knowing it's only two days away! Thank you to everyone for all your prayers and thoughts for myself, Drake, and my whole family. Next post will hopefully be a picture of our new baby boy:)

Big, BiGgEr, BIGGEST!

Ok so I am finally making myself update. I am 39 weeks and 2 days today. Nothing new to report. I am still pregnant. I can't sit, stand, or lay down for more then a minute without it hurting. So basically, I HURT! Wendy Whiner you may say...yes, I AM! I am so ready to see my baby boy and ready to have a flabby yet roomy belly:) Next appt. is MOnday the 8th. Hopefully he will arrive before then, but if not that is when I will knos something more.

Stella started school this week and to nobody's surprise LOVES IT! She actually wishes she could go everyday. Ballet is going really well and Riley finally started football. Nothing else is new.




Also, I am very excited about McCain's pick for VP!!! McCain~Palin all the way!
