So, last week Riley finally got to collect on his birthday gift. WE got him great, close up tickets to the pacers/cavaliers game in Indy. He's not a Pacers fan, but a huge Lebron James fan. So he got to sit smack dab center court. His dad went with him and I hung back at the hotel with the 2 little ones. No way was Stella & Drake going to be able to sit through a whole game. Riley was asked if he wanted to go down on the court and high five the players. He sure did enjoy that. It was a great game and it went all the way to the final seconds to determine the winner. Great game for him to attend. I think at one point he even told Jason he was so excited he might pee his pants. Unfortunately for Riley the Pacers won after a controversial call at the end. BOO hoo...but he did have fun. We also stayed over night downtown and Riley got to play hookie the next day and we shopped at circle center. I think his b-day was a hit!

Sit Up...Stand up...Come on throw your hands up!
Well, I would say it's about time for me to update everyone on our little Drake Thomas. I think he may be our little comedian. He loves to make funny noises and he gets so excited when he makes us laugh. He is babbling words such as dada, mama, baba and Riley swears he says Ri-La. I think that's a stretch but when you say, "where's Riley?" or "where's Stella?", he looks right at who he's suppose to. He is doing so many new things. He plays with his feet all the time. He is eating cereal ( rice and oatmeal). Still rolling over and pushing up when he is on his tummy. He is starting to try to scoot. He hasn't quite mastered that though...he goes sideways and backwards;) Just this week he started sitting up on his own, needing no assistance from us or pillows!!! WOW!!! The time is flying by and I want it to slow down. My last baby will be 5 months old next Tuesday:( I want him to stay little, but that is not how it works. We will be trying baby food in about a month. That should be interesting. Maybe he'll be my one and only vegetable eater! Fingers Crossed!

Riley is still doing awesome in school and is still playing basketball and doing very well. We have signed up for soccer and baseball sign up is this weekend so we will be a busy group from now until mid summer. He had two of his very best friends over for his birthday a couple weekends ago and we did bowling, pizza, and a sleepover. We are so lucky he has great friends.

Stella is loving school as usual and improving every day at gymnastics. She has mastered her bridge and can now do her back somersault unassisted. She is awesome on the balance beam! We are getting very excited about kindergarten around here. We have been discussing it and reading books about it. She has kindergarten round-up on March 4th. I am worried about the fact that I only have one choice for a teacher if we do half day. I don't understand why we have to have full day kindergarten. To me, that is a transition year and it's so hard for these kids to adjust as it is. Don't get me started...I'll never stop! haha!! I know it will all work out and Stella will get the right class and teacher for her.
We have had a lot of snow around here and the kids have been out a few times. It's so hard to get out when it is so frigid cold. They were able to go sledding with cousins over the weekend and play in the backyard. I even bundled Drake up just so I could take him out for a minute to get a picture. Don't freak out...he was only out for a minute.

I think that is it for now. We are gearing up for big family Spring Break trip to sunny, warm Orlando, Florida. We are going to Disney World!!!! We sort of have a tradition in our family that we take every child when they are 4 years old. I remember how much fun it was to watch Riley's face when we went to magic kingdom. He was amazed. We had breakfast with Mickey and all the characters for Riley's special time. For Stella's turn Stella, my mom, and myself will be having lunch at the castle with the princesses. I can't wait!!!!
