Riley is still doing awesome in school and is still playing basketball and doing very well. We have signed up for soccer and baseball sign up is this weekend so we will be a busy group from now until mid summer. He had two of his very best friends over for his birthday a couple weekends ago and we did bowling, pizza, and a sleepover. We are so lucky he has great friends.
Stella is loving school as usual and improving every day at gymnastics. She has mastered her bridge and can now do her back somersault unassisted. She is awesome on the balance beam! We are getting very excited about kindergarten around here. We have been discussing it and reading books about it. She has kindergarten round-up on March 4th. I am worried about the fact that I only have one choice for a teacher if we do half day. I don't understand why we have to have full day kindergarten. To me, that is a transition year and it's so hard for these kids to adjust as it is. Don't get me started...I'll never stop! haha!! I know it will all work out and Stella will get the right class and teacher for her.
We have had a lot of snow around here and the kids have been out a few times. It's so hard to get out when it is so frigid cold. They were able to go sledding with cousins over the weekend and play in the backyard. I even bundled Drake up just so I could take him out for a minute to get a picture. Don't freak out...he was only out for a minute.
I think that is it for now. We are gearing up for big family Spring Break trip to sunny, warm Orlando, Florida. We are going to Disney World!!!! We sort of have a tradition in our family that we take every child when they are 4 years old. I remember how much fun it was to watch Riley's face when we went to magic kingdom. He was amazed. We had breakfast with Mickey and all the characters for Riley's special time. For Stella's turn Stella, my mom, and myself will be having lunch at the castle with the princesses. I can't wait!!!!
